Capers, Figs, Ovoli Mushrooms and Zucchini, oh my!

buon cibo/good food

Happy Monday! Welcome to WHB 353.

I have the pleasure of hosting this edition of Weekend Herb Blogging for Haalo. The dishes sent into WHB each week are always intriguing.  But, if I can say so, the participants knocked it out of the park this week with ingredients and depth of flavor. The only question I was left with was, What recipe do I try first?

How about some figs?

Maderia-Poached Figs with Lemon and Sage Figs
Janet from The Taste Space

Tuna Dip
Cinzia from Cindy Star Blog

Ovoli Mushroom Salad

Haalo from Cook Almost Anything

Zucchini Stir-Fry
Tigerfish from teczcape – an escape to food

Hibiscus Mango Tea Sandwich Cookies

Chris from Mele Cotte…that’s me!

Have you begun making your grocery list yet?  Keep your pen handy because WHB is bound to rock again this week when Haalo takes WHB back to be your host. You can send your posts to whb AT

Thanks to everyone who participated this week!  See you next time.

Beautiful – the links to the first two appear to be broken. Is it my computer or are they not linked back to their respective sites?! I cannot wait to read these! Thanks!

I’ll take 1 (or 12) of those figs.

I feel the same way, Kate. Love love love figs!

Ovoli mushrooms? Never even heard of them before! New mushrooms to scope out! :) Great round-up!

I would not know which recipe to try first, too! :)
Thanks for the round up.
