omaggio/giveaway
We all licked the spoon, or grabbed a little nugget of dough, when our moms and grandmothers baked us goodies as kids. Most of us also received a slight hand “tap”, as well. “Get out of there! You’re going to make yourself sick!” Raw dough, raw eggs, sick tummy.
That was then. This is now. Finally! Graphic designer and food blogger Lindsey Landis, made sure the hand tap of old is no longer needed. Her cookbook, The Cookie Dough Lover’s Cookbook: Cookies, Cakes, Candies, and More, not only includes a range of recipes from candy and brownies to ice cream sandwiches to even breakfast delights, but all cookie dough recipes are egg free. Egg free equals edible!
Do you want to peruse the book? Do you want to challenging task of deciding which recipe to try first, the Cookie Dough Whoopie Pies, Cookie Dough-Stuffed Dark Chocolate Cupcakes, or Old Fashioned Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwiches? What about Cookie Dough Smores?
Yes. Cookie Dough Smores. Lindsay brought a campfire favorite to a completely new and glorious level. The recipe? Well, you’ll just have to wait for the book when it hits the stores June 5th. Can’t wait? I guess that means I need to give a copy away!

I love raw cookie dough, but am scared of getting sick so I’d love to use some recipes that taste like cookie dough w/o the possibility of food borne illness.

I’m a cookie fiend, so I’d love this cookbook.
My husband and I are always trying to find good cookie recipes. He and I are know to bring cookies to family events and people judge what we have brought. These look fabulous and so so good.
The cookbook sounds interesting because I have never tried recipes like this before. These would be great to try, know my family would like these treats as well.
Cookie dough has gotten me through some of the best and worst times of my life. So…this cookbook seems especially appealing.

Oh wow! What an awesome idea for a cookbook! (Though can it really be called a “cook” book if the whole point is to used an uncooked dough?). My mouth is totally watering just looking at those pictures.
Why do I want this? Because cookie dough is awesome! Also, deep down I’m still the 6 year old who can’t help but lick the bowl…
Because deep down I’m just a 6 year old who can’t resist licking the bowl!
I love eating the cookie dough before baking it – just to taste test, of course
. A whole book of cookie dough recipes sounds delicious!
